This time I'm going to go even further from 3d printing :D But I couldn't resist to write about interessting technologie that I stumbled upon recently. It's basically engraving your 3d model into glass into glass. German company EasyCrystal offers free software, which gives opportunity to model your own product and order from them. And imediatly after they get payment, they will start working on your project and when it's done, they will ship it to any place in the world for you! Production time is about 5 work days. Price varies depends on what size you want your object to be. They offers keychains and glass cubes, but I believe you can contact them for more specific work. You can read their FAQ here.

Yeah, I know, that I should talk about 3d printing. But I just receantlly found awesome website, where you can not only use 3d printing, but even more. On Ponoko you create your own "workplace" and then you can start making your 2d/3d designs with programs you're good. And when your product is done, you can make it REAL. As you can see from picture below, your item can contain different materials.

You can also sell your designs on their marketplace or search and buy, if you found something to have in your house. More info you can find on their website Ponoko.
